Lead your civilization from the stone age through 4 ages (ancient, middle ages, modern, future). Pay resources to play cards representing historic persons, buildings or technologies into your timeframe. Then use your population markers to activate the effects on the cards, or upgrade the cards by delivering luxury goods. As you build more cards, older cards may be pushed out of your timeframe and into your graveyard. During the game you will advance on the culture track (to gain wonders and more population), on the science track (to gain acceses to unique technologies), and you will explore by using ship, flight, or even space flight.
