Many centuries ago, legendary smiths forged the Crown of Command, a magical artefact of immense power. Whoever wears the Crown of Command will hold power over all of the land.

Decades ago, a powerful wizard sealed the Crown of Command behind the Portal of Power to prevent evil forces from obtaining it. Only those who possess one of the legendary Talismans may pass through this Portal to reach the Crown. Over the years, five of the Talismans have disappeared. Enemy forces now seek to find them in order to seize the Crown of Command for themselves. Brave heroes that you are, you have banded together to go on a quest to retrieve all five Talismans and thereby stop the evil power behind these enemy forces from ruling the world. This task won't be easy as finding each Talisman is an epic adventure in itself. However, if you work together using everyone's abilities and helping one another when you can, you will surely succeed.

In Talisman - Legendary Tales, the players must work together as an adventure party to recover the five legendary Talismans that have been lost. During each adventure, the party endeavors to recover one of the lost Talismans. The adventures must be played in order. You may repeat adventures, and you may play one or more adventures in a game session.

Over the course of this story, you will travel across a wondrous land and have exciting adventures in which you must make important decisions and defend yourself against cruel enemies. As an adventure party, you succeed in each adventure once you have completed the final task and have recovered the Talisman. Be careful: You have only a limited amount of time!

TOMATOES: During the third round, before each act, one player (other that the one who is performing their act) is designated as the tomatoes thrower.

That player takes 5 Tomato tokens from the reserve.

As soon as the performance starts, the tomatoes thrower will throw tomatoes at the performing player (making sure not to disturb the performance) in three different cases:

anytime one or more components fall
anytime you hear a big cymbal crash (after 1 minute, and then every 20 seconds).
if the performing player forgets to say "tadaaaa" at the end of their act.

Note: A player cannot get more than 5 tomatoes during an act. At the end of the game, the player (or players) who got the most tomatoes loses 3 Applause, and the player (or players) who got the fewest tomatoes gains 3 Applause!

AWARDS: At the beginning of the game, each player takes an Award token from the reserve.

Before the game ends, each player must have given their token to another player (at any time) and must explain why they did it. Examples: because that was the most amazing performance of the game, because this is a perfect execution of a challenge, because it was the funniest act.

At the end of the game, each Award token is worth 2 Applause.

If a player forgot (or did not want) to give their Award token, they lose 4 Applause.

Tom is neither a guard nor a prisoner, he’s a games fan and therefore a guest on the show. When you enter the room, if you give your reminder token (by discarding it permanently), you may immediately choose between seeing a hidden adjacent room, or being pushed into an adjacent room. If you refuse to give your reminder token or if you don’t have it anymore, he pushes you into an adjacent room chosen by the first player of the turn (it can be yourself).

Note: You can’t use this room in Madness mode (due to reminder tokens being absent)
